Attention all crafters!
The crochet club is for middle and high school students (grades 7-12) with an interest in crochet and any other fiber art. The club is run by president Adelaide Fuller and vice president Emma Roa, and is open to all, regardless of skill or experience.
The crochet club’s goal is to create a welcoming community for students to simply do an activity they enjoy and share their creativity. They plan to supply materials and provide lessons to any absolute beginners who want to learn the art of crochet.
The crochet club also uses their crafts for good; they regularly participate in fundraisers, selling anything from keychains to sweaters with proceeds going to local nonprofits as well as large charities. So even if you are not interested in learning how to make a cute stuffed animal or scarf, you can buy a lovingly crafted item from your peers.
The club meets every other Monday in room 221 and always welcomes new members. Be careful, though, as you may get HOOKED!
