For anyone who doesn’t know, the crochet club is for high school students (grades 9-12) interested in crochet, knitting, and general fiber arts. The club is open to anyone and run by Mia Bressler. When looking for a place to get information for the article, Mia’s name came up, and I decided to contact her. Mia says she likes the crochet club because you don’t have to know how to crochet or even knit. ¨Experienced club members are happy to teach new members!¨ Mia says.
Mia also references how lovely the crochet community is and how everyone is welcoming and always open to new members. Another thing mentioned is how much fun the members have. Mia says they also talk to unwind after a long work day. She says she is honored to lead such compassionate and creative people. The club is also involved in fundraisers for anyone interested! Lastly, the crochet club is making an appearance at the 2023 holiday market. They will be selling handmade goods for charity. If you are interested, the crochet club stand will be there on Dec 4, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Glen Ridge High School.
